RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria 2026 — Age, Qualification & ITI

Candidates must have one of the following:

• 10th Pass (Matriculation) + ITI from NCVT/SCVT in relevant trade, OR
• 10th Pass + National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT, OR
• 10th Pass alone (may be eligible for some posts — notification-specific)
• 12th Pass / Diploma / Degree holders are also eligible to apply

Age calculated as of 1st July of the notification year:

Candidates must be physically fit for the Physical Efficiency Test:

• Male: Carry 35 kg for 100 metres in 2 minutes + Run 1000m in 4:15
• Female: Carry 20 kg for 100 metres in 2 minutes + Run 1000m in 5:40
• Pregnancy: Eligible to apply; PET deferred if selected
• PwBD: Exempted from PET for positions where disability doesn't affect duties
