RRB NTPC Salary 2026 — Pay Scale, In-Hand & Allowances

RRB NTPC posts are divided into Graduate and Under-Graduate categories with different pay levels under the 7th Pay Commission.

• House Rent Allowance (HRA): 8%–24% of basic pay depending on city classification (X/Y/Z)
• Transport Allowance (TA): ₹1,350–₹3,600/month + DA thereon
• Dearness Allowance (DA): Revised quarterly, currently ~50% of basic pay
• Night Duty Allowance: For staff working night shifts
• Over Time Allowance (OTA): As applicable
• Children Education Allowance: Up to ₹2,250/month per child (2 children max)

• Free Rail Passes: Complimentary passes for self and family to travel anywhere in India
• Medical Facilities: CGHS-equivalent through Railway Hospitals and Health Units
• Railway Quarters: Subsidized accommodation near duty station
• Leave Travel Concession (LTC): Paid travel for self and family
• Pension: National Pension System (NPS) with government contribution
• Festival Advance: Interest-free advance during major festivals
• Education Loan: At subsidized rates for children's higher education

• NPS Contribution: 10% of Basic + DA (Government contributes 14%)
• CGHS/RELHS: ₹250–₹500/month for medical coverage
• Income Tax: As per applicable slab
• Professional Tax: As per state rules
